Here, he was in his greatest continued success, Hosting a nighttime variety half hour for Ford Motor Company on NBC from 1956-61. He voluntarily walked away from the show after the 1960-61 season to move to San Francisco where he would host a half-hour daytime show on ABC-TV from 1962-65 with a
Pre-Dating Game Jim Lange as announcer.
